Winter road conditions - multi-vehicle pileup caused by weather

We're Building This
Because Weather Kills

And it doesn't have to.

The Numbers Don't Lie

5,000+

Deaths per year

from weather-related crashes

418,000

Injuries annually

lives changed forever

21%

Of all crashes

are weather-related

Here's the thing: Most of these accidents happen because people didn't know what they were driving into. They checked the weather at their destination, saw "sunny," and hit a blizzard at mile 150.

The Problem With Every Other Weather App

🌤️

Traditional Weather Apps

  • Only show weather at your destination
  • Don't account for travel time
  • Miss conditions you'll encounter en route
  • No traffic + weather correlation
🛡️

Route Outlook

  • Shows weather along your entire route
  • Calculates conditions at your arrival time
  • Highlights dangerous segments before you leave
  • Live traffic cameras to verify conditions
  • Combines weather + traffic for complete picture

The Tech Behind It

4D Trajectory Analysis—it's not just a buzzword

We Track 4 Dimensions

Latitude

Longitude

East/West

Time

When you arrive

🌦️

Weather

At that moment

This means if you leave at 8am vs 10am, you'll see completely different weather forecasts. Because the weather at mile 50 is different at 9:30am vs 11:30am. We calculate this for every segment of your route.

We integrate real-time traffic data, hyperlocal weather forecasts from multiple meteorological sources, and thousands of live traffic cameras from state DOTs across the country. The result? The most accurate picture of road conditions possible—with visual verification.

He is a published author, having co-authored OpenVMS Internals and Data Structures as well as white papers on digital marketplaces and smart grid deployment.

He designed and built Route Outlook's 4D trajectory analysis engine from the ground up — a system that models driving journeys across latitude, longitude, time, and weather simultaneously. The platform integrates data from NOAA weather forecast grids, 12+ state DOT 511 traffic feeds, RWIS road-weather sensor networks, and over 25,000 live traffic cameras from departments of transportation across the United States.

Route Outlook is developed and operated by Verby, LLC, a Delaware-based technology company.

Our Mission is Simple

Give drivers the information they need to make smarter decisions about when to travel. So fewer people drive into danger. So fewer families get that terrible phone call.

"Every weather-related accident is potentially preventable. If people just knew what they were driving into."
