About Route Outlook
Route Outlook is a road trip weather intelligence platform built by Verby, LLC, a Delaware-based technology company. We help drivers see weather conditions at every point along their route, timed to when they'll actually be there — not just at the destination.
Our platform combines live data from DOT 511 feeds, road weather sensors (RWIS), traffic cameras, snow plows, and the National Weather Service to give drivers the most complete picture of driving conditions available anywhere.
Route Outlook was founded by Saro Saravanan, a technologist with 30+ years of experience and 7 patents. After years of checking weather apps that only showed conditions at the destination — not along the route — he built the tool he wished existed.

Is Route Outlook free?
Yes. All route pages, weather data, traffic cameras, and road condition reports are completely free. We also offer free weather alerts for up to 3 routes. Premium features are available for frequent travelers.
Where does the data come from?
We use official government data sources including state DOT 511 systems, the National Weather Service, RWIS road sensors, and Open-Meteo for forecasts. Traffic camera feeds come from state transportation agencies.
How accurate is the forecast?
We check conditions at multiple points along your route — not just the origin and destination. Our forecasts use the same models as the National Weather Service, sampled along the actual driving corridor.
